Deploy Canvas Base

About

We write the document the freeze meeting is trying to have.

Deploy Canvas Base started after too many Kuala Lumpur go/no-go rooms treated a test summary as a decision. The version shipped. Support found the gaps. The next freeze repeated the same argument. We exist to put blockers, limitations, and unanswered questions on one dated page.

Reviewers talking through papers in a bright meeting room

Origin

Aishah Rahman spent freeze weeks inside consumer apps shipping from the Klang Valley. The pattern was consistent: crash notes in one folder, store copy in another, a support rota that still listed someone on leave, and a meeting that ended with “we’re probably fine.” She left that role to write readiness reports as an outside pair of eyes — close enough to the packet to be specific, far enough to say hold.

Wei Jie Tan and Priya Nair joined so that crash extracts and support briefs would not be a single person’s blind spot. The practice is small on purpose. One flagship review at a time is the usual load; a hotfix gate can sit beside it if the 48-hour clock is honest.

Where we work

The office is at 1 6 Jln 2/98 Taman Supreme,Kuala Lumpur,Wilayah Persekutuan,56100,Malaysia. Evidence usually arrives remotely. Interviews for Klang Valley teams can be in Taman Supreme or at your office. Regional teams book around Malaysia time unless we agree another window in writing.

How we treat a freeze date

We will not invent a recommendation if crash notes, rollback steps, or the support rota are withheld. We do not sign the release. We do not rewrite your test cases. If the date is already inside five working days, we will say so and offer a hotfix gate instead of pretending a full review still fits.

What we will not pretend to be

We are not an in-house QA group, a store-listing agency, or an on-call rota. If you need those, hire them. If you need a dated opinion on whether this version should ship, that is the work.
