How we handle personal data

This notice explains how Deploy Canvas Base collects and uses personal data when you use this site, send a scoping note, or book deployment-readiness reporting. It should be read with our cookies page.

What we collect

From the contact form: your name, email address, chosen assessment, optional app name and version, optional preferred date, and the message you write. From email or telephone: the same kinds of details, plus any evidence contacts you later name. We do not ask for identity-card numbers, payment-card numbers on this site, or health information.

Evidence packets you send for a review may contain names of employees on a support rota or in crash notes. Provide only what the assessment requires. You are responsible for stripping data that should not leave your organisation.

Why we use it

To reply to scoping notes, to perform the booked assessment, to invoice, and to keep records required for tax and dispute handling in Malaysia. We do not sell lists of contacts and we do not use your freeze dates for unrelated marketing.

Retention

Scoping notes that do not become a booking are kept for 12 months, then deleted from our mailbox and files unless a legal hold applies. Reports, invoices, and the packet copies needed to support a report are kept for seven years. You may ask us to return or destroy packet copies after the walkthrough; we will keep the issued PDF and invoice.

Your rights

Subject to the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 of Malaysia, you may ask to access personal data we hold about you, to correct it, and to withdraw consent where we rely on consent. Write to info@deploycanvasbase.digital. We may need to verify that the request comes from you. You may also contact the Department of Personal Data Protection in Malaysia.

International transfers

We work from Malaysia. Email and file hosting may store copies on servers outside Malaysia. Where that happens, we use providers who contract to protect the data with a level of care we consider comparable, and we limit access to people working on your engagement.

Security

Access to packets is limited to the reviewers named for that engagement. We do not publish client crash extracts. No method of transmission is perfect; do not send secrets you would not put in an email to a lawyer.

Children

This site is written for people who book professional reporting for app releases. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
